Yesterday a British company Thruvision introduced a new surveillance camera the T-5000 . This camera which uses "passive imaging technology" can spot objects on someones person from up to 80 feet away by picking up the electromagnetic rays also known as Terahertz rays that those objects emit . These items include metallic and non metallic objects . The camera can also detect objects on someone whether they're stationary or moving . The basis of this new technology is that all people and objects emit some amount of low level electromagnetic radiation . Terahertz rays fall on the electromagnetic spectrum between infrared and microwave .
