Immigration raid hits Tennessee

Over the weekend I.C.E agents conducted a raid at a Springfield TN. apartment complex forcing some five families who were here illegally to flee . The owner of the apartment complex commented on the negative impact that this action would have on the community . In my opinion the only impact he's feeling right now is in his wallet , which he practically admitted when claiming he'll lose $5,000 this month in cleaning and hauling away what the illegals couldn't carry , and most important of all RENT . The state paper that ran the story put a wonderful spin on it . It talked about the crumpled Christmas trees left behind with all the garland still on them , music cds scattered around , also a discarded spelling test belonging to a grade school student named Alana ( sniff , gulp ) sorry i had a moment . The landlord talked about how wrong , and counterproductive it was for federal agents to come in the middle of night and sweep people away as though I.C.E were some modern day gestapo . I love bleeding heart types and how they continually fail to see the obvious . Of course their going to come at night , that's when most people are home numb nuts ! In all the article left the reader feeling that enforcing immigration laws is bad , and that it breaks up families of hard working migrants trying to etch out a new life for themselves . Well consider this . Some 25 legal citizens are killed ever week in this country from the criminal actions of illegal aliens . That's more in one week than combat casualties in Iraq in one month . Those people have families also , families that are torn apart , so who speaks for them ? Where's the media outrage over this alarming statistic ?
