It sickens me greatly to go inside the modern day cooperate hospital. To look upon the sick and injured treated like cattle. Any trip to the emergency room starts by presenting your insurance card with a promise to pay any remaining balance due. What happened to compassion first? To look at our fellow man as a patent not a paycheck. I remember the days of community hospitals that were run by doctors who based their decisions on the quality of care. Not by money, hungry lawyers looking to bleed you dry when you are in need of help. Lining their pockets while promising the most advanced technology, and this supposed to give the highest level of care. I want a professional doctor to make my important medical decisions. Not some cooperate executive who does not have a working knowledge of medicine, not just the bottom line. Let us get back to what works medicine not money.
