Federal Reserve cooperation cuts interest rates again Part 2

The announcement came earlier today, which caused a short-lived rally on Wall Street. Investors are still cautious and the market still closed in the red. It would seem that everybody has lost confidence in the dollar and for good reason. Who wants to put their investments into a currency that the president just gives away. We can look for congress to pass another economic stimulus package buy the end of the next quarter to try to offset this latest cut. More free worthless money!

Great White Shark Attack!

Last week 66 year old triathlete David Martin was attacked and killed by a great white shark off the coast of California. The shark attacked with such speed that it actually lifted Mr. Martin out of the water with his legs enclosed in the shark's mouth. The attack occurred off Solana Beach California, where Mr. Martin had been swimming 150 yards from shore. It was about 7a.m. about the time when predators such as the great white are feeding. The last time a swimmer was killed by a shark in San Diego waters was in 1994. That victim was a 25 year old woman Michelle Von Emster, who was swimming alone and at night off Ocean Beach on April 14 . From what I understand night time or near dusk is when sharks and other predators begin to feed. You see this is why I'll never swim in the ocean again. You have to understand that when you go out into the ocean you're no longer on top of the food chain. I was down at South Beach Miami Florida two years ago, and just weeks before I got there several swimmers had been seriously injured. Something is bringing these predators closer to shore. Whether it's lack of food or beachside restaurants dumping in the ocean your guess is as good as mine, but for the foreseeable future I won't be swimming in the ocean and if you value your lives neither will any of you.

Israel drops the A-bomb on Jimmy Carter

The A-bomb means being called an anti-Semite. This label is the modern day equivalent of the Salem witch trials for its very mention usually means political death for the accused. I find this more intriguing considering that Jimmy Carter is one of the most liberal politicians alive. This just proves once again to the rest of the political whores in Washington not to question their Jewish masters. To do so means they will have to wear the scarlet letter and be forever shunned. The big difference is that Mr. Carter has nothing to lose. He is at the end of his political career and has no one to answer to for his actions. This makes him dangerous because he can be truthful. Believe me I am not a Jimmy Carter fan or supporter at all but really respect what I think he is trying to do. The nine eleven terrorist that crashed planes into the twin towers for a purpose and it was not because they dislike Americans. The talks with Hamas might be the only way of stopping the next terror attack on U.S. soil. With that reason in mind, I for one would like to hear what they have to say.

Al Sharpton

In the aftermath of the acquittal of three NYPD detectives, Rev Al Sharpton has promised to close New York City down . At Al Sharpton's National Action Network office , the Rev. Sharpton said " We strategically know how to stop the city so people stand still and realize that you do not have the right to shoot down unarmed ,innocent civilians." Rev. Sharpton continued by saying " This city is going to deal with the blood of Sean Bell." Sean Bell was shot and killed in 2006 after leaving a Queen's strip club with some friends by the three NYPD detective's . Sean Bell's fiancé commented on the court ruling saying " April 25 , 2008 :They killed Sean all over again . That's what it felt like to us ." The three detectives waived their right to a trial by jury over concerns that the jurist would not be impartial . Also something I found interesting is the fact that Al Sharpton has not used the word racism to describe the killing . I guess it's possible that the fact that of the three detectives two are black might have something to do with this ? I wonder if had the situation been different and the victim had been white , would Al Sharpton go to such lengths to see that justice and equality are served ? I'll let you decide .

Food rations

I hate to be the one who says I told you so, but I did. Depression 2 is here. The latest news of grocery stores rationing rice, flour and corn is one just more nail in the coffin. The next step in the food category will be food vouchers because the Federal Reserve cooperation note has no value. Also, look for vouchers for fuel and medication. As this situation will get worst as people start making more bank and food runs. Your survival will depend upon your current employment since almost no one owns enough land to supply food to feed themselves. The major news media will continue to hide these facts from you to keep from a nationwide panic, but they cannot hide the elephant in the room for much longer. Therefore, do not get caught off guard use some common sense in the coming months when it comes to you financial decisions. Be prepared!

Oil Prices Surpass $119.00 a Barrel

Oil prices have now exceeded $119.00 a barrel Tuesday during trading , and is expected to increase beyond $120.00 a barrel . Market analyst seem to think this has something to do with the falling value of U.S. currency against the Euro . I'm not a market analyst or stock broker , and yet i can't help but be a little suspicious about the reasoning for the price hike . The excuse that it's the falling value of the dollar just doesn't convince me , the dollar's value has been dropping steadily for the last 3-to-4 years . Just a couple of years ago oil was selling for around $55.00 a barrel with fears that it could surpass $60.00 . So why this unprecedented increase in the price of crude ? It's very simple supply & demand with an under current of greed . Just last week a Saudi official said he saw no reason to increase production at this time . Saudi Arabia cut back production several months ago . Mexico's oil production slipped by around 7.8% , that's around 2.91 million barrel's a day . Then you have the oil companies in America that haven't built a new refinery since 1980 . This is why oil in the United States cost so much , because the majority of the oil that's imported has to be refined outside the U.S. I try to avoid conspiracy theories but in this case I'll indulge in one . This current state of high gas prices reminds me of what happened in the early to mid 1970's . It was shortly after the Yom Kippur War when OPEC decided to cut back production , and resulted in the gas shortage America suffered . If you'll remember OPEC mainly consist of Arab countries . Because America supported Israel with equipment , those Arab countries voted to cut back production as a way to punish America for its backing of Israel . I believe the same thing is occurring now . With U.S. troops in Iraq for over five years now , this is OPEC's way of saying get out .

Bill Maher

Last week cable talk show host Bill Maher had made some rather insensitive comments about Pope Benedict XVI in particular , and Christianity , and the church in general . Naturally this has set off a wave of indignation from Christians around the world , who immediately demanded an apology . Bill Maher's apology was half-hearted at best . Yet as much as this might bother Christians to hear this , but Bill Maher was correct . Pope Benedict was a member of the Nazi party , where Bill Maher made the mistake was not mentioning the fact that he ( the pope ) did not willingly join the ranks of the Nazi party but was conscripted . This i feel was probably deliberate . Anyone who's seen his show Real Time with Bill Maher will understand that Mr. Maher's political ideology is about as far left as one can get . You must also understand that his show is political commentary , it's not a news network reporting the facts . Even though i find Mr. Mahers statements about Christians and the church to be venomous , I don't believe he should be censored for making them . This to me is free speech at in its purist form . If we censor ever individual who said something we didn't agree with , or found hurtful then we might as will go through our lives wearing a gag . No one is going to agree 100% with what you say , but you don't therefore label them , and censor them into silence either . That to me is the problem with trying to create a world that is politically correct , it has no room for free speech only acceptable speech . I personally do not agree with Mr. Mahers politics so i do not watch his show , and for those of you who disagree with his remarks suggest you do the same , or better yet exercise your right and say exactly what you feel about him . I find that course of action to be much more productive than whining , and demanding an apology .

Institutional indicators

You can tell a lot about a society by its institutions. Schools, prisons, and universities all are indicators of what is really happening in our culture. However, with that said let us talk about what I see. There seems to be a devolution-taking place. Violence changes minds faster than ideas and the rule of survival of the fittest still reigns. Schools and universities indoctrinate the children to worship money while stripping them of any self-preservation or worth. With the value of human life losing, its importance we get as a society of self centered, immoral greedy people looking for escape thru money and power. This way of life follows the children into adulthood and eventually to prison. Here they can practice what they have learned in school. We are in a cycle, a mouse wheel if you will, that rewards crime while looking down upon common decency and respect. Even criminals worshiped as heroes in the media follows us throughout our daily lives. Sport and rap stars give examples that crime is the cool thing to do and with enough money and power, you can get away with it. This all can stop if more people would home school. By not allowing your children to except the public school propaganda, we could get a generation of decent, caring individuals who can think and act on their own. Without young, impressionable minds, the devolutionary cycle can be broken.

The Forbidden Kingdom

It's been awhile since I've seen a good chop flick . Jackie Chan and Jet Li made a great duo in this film . It had everything you come to expect from a martial arts movie Mantis ,Tiger and Drunken styles of kung-fu , also that curious Chinese ability to fly through trees . The plot is simple enough . A martial arts fable centered around a boy ( Micheal Angarno ) who must return a magical staff to its rightful owner The Monkey King ( Jet Li ) , and thus save the kingdom from the tyrannical rule of an evil warlord . Along the way he's aided by a drunk ( Jackie Chan ) , and a young peasant girl (Collin Chou ) , and a monk also played by Jet Li . In fact the only thing i didn't enjoy about the whole movie experience was the drunk at the back who couldn't keep his big mouth shut , or the guy a few rows down who kept telling him to shut up .

Jimmy Carter Meets with Hamas

Tempers flare and accusations are hurled as Jimmy Carter makes his much publicized visit to the Middle East to meet with Hamas . Sen. Barack Obama campaigning in Pennsylvania commented " We must not negotiate with a terrorist group intent on Israels destruction . We should only sit down with Hamas if they renounce terrorism , recognize Israels right to exist and abide by past agreements . Hamas is not a state . Hamas is a terrorist organization ." Sen. Obama made this statement after telling a group of Jewish leaders that he has an " unshakable commitment " to help defend Israel from its " bitter enemies . " Both Democratic candidates referred to Caters trip as naive . Who knows Jimmy Carter might get another Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts . I'm sure that the Hamas leadership will not mind the visit , after all look what Carters visit to North Korea produced .

Religion in April

April is not a good month to belong to an alleged cult or polygamy group. Maybe this month has some special significance to the federal government or this all might be a consequence .Regardless I think it is worth closer study. The Waco murders were committed April 19 1993, when the bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms burned alive seventy-six men, women and children to serve a warrant for illegal guns and alleged child abuse. Twenty-one children died that day. In the crowd of spectators was Timothy McVeigh. Whom one year later bombed the Murrah building in Oklahoma City in revenge for Waco killing 168 men, women and children. This building also contained a daycare center. Now we move back to Texas for another alleged cult that is under siege for child abuse and polygamy. This time there is almost complete media blackout of the event. What is happening in San Angelo that we are not supposed to see? I really hope that the authorities handling this remember what has happened in the past for the children's sake.

John McCain Attacks Wallstreet & New York Times

This past Monday Sen. John McCain blamed part of America's fall into recession on " greedy " investors as he puts it . You know i hear this same line from Democrats . Anyone who makes more than five figures is automatically greedy in their eyes . For those of you who happen to follow that line of thinking i have only one thing to tell you ....grow up ! When it comes to big business people tend to develop what i call a " Robin Hood " complex . If it wasn't for some individual out there willing to take a chance , and be successful at a business then chances are you probably wouldn't have a job right now . And for those of you who invest in Roth IRA's , Mutual Fund's and 401K's your doing the same thing that big business and the CEO's who run them are doing , and that's trying to make as much money as you can . So blaming investor greed on the state of America's economy only makes you a hypocrite . Sen. McCain also took shots at The New York Times for their uncovering America's use of undocumented wiretaps between U.S. citizens and people overseas suspected of having ties to terrorism . Also he cited the Times story on a supposed affair with a female lobbyist . Lastly Sen. McCain promised to go after Osama Bin Laden although he feels it would take more intelligence resources than those already employed . Well unless McCain is willing to commit troops to invading the northern part of Pakistan where the remnants of the Taliban have fled , then all the intelligence resources in the world won't make a difference .

The income tax debate

Where is there a law, which requires all Americans to pay a tax on their income? Nobody can answer this question not the internal revenue service or any federal court. Just recently, some brave Americans have asked this question in public with mixed results. Let us go back in history to find some answers. Before there was an income tax, this country depended upon a tariff tax on all imported goods. Our economy thrived with this tax and the American industrial powerhouse was born. This tax built this nation since our founding fathers until world war two. Then we get to President Roosevelt with pressure from international banking houses to ask for an income tax, and to take all privately held gold. This was dubbed the "new start' program. This tax was only supposed to be temporary. Here we are seventy years later still paying this tax, hoping that the internal revenue service does not pull our number for audit. Most of us scared to whisper a word. Remember we are ruled by fear and the income tax is just one of many examples of that fact. Question everything!

Senator's Hillary & Obama Clash Over Statements

Here's a prime example of how politicians will do or say anything to get elected . Last week Sen. Barack Obama at a fundraiser in San Francisco talked about the bitterness that American voters feel about their government , and that all they have left to cling to is " their guns and their religion ". Well i feel that if the American people could pry themselves from their favorite nightly t.v. shows and discovered what their government is doing in their name , then armed insurrection and the faith to see it through might not seem so far fetched . Sen. Hillary Clinton meanwhile trying to cort the religious , and conservative vote by portraying herself as more moderate called Sen. Obama's statements as " elitist and divisive " truly strange accusations coming from her . While as senator of New York she has continually pushed for gun control . As I've always said politicians will do or say anything to get elected , even if they have to reverse their stance on certain issues to get the votes . Yet you just can't get those hard core voters to see that . I'm talking about those people who vote Republican or Democrat regardless of the outcome . I'm talking about those individuals who vote not on the merits of the candidates , but simply because that's how their parents and their parents before them voted . I've said before that kind of single minded devotion cheapens the electoral process .

CIA employs Google

The central intelligence agency has asked Google to help with information gathering and indexing of data. Of course, many Internet users are screaming that this move will invade their privacy. I hate to be the one to bust everybody's bubble but do really you think that the United States government needs Google to spy on Internet traffic. The patriot act has already served this purpose long ago and that piece of legislation extends the right to every law enforcement agency to spy on anybody suspected to be an enemy of the state. Calm down, odds are you are being spied upon at this very moment.

Hillary Clinton and The Sniper Fire Conundrum

To be fired upon or not to be fired upon ..... that is the question . And only Bill & Hillary Clinton can truly know the answer to that question . In what i can only view as some kind of ploy to garner more support for her struggling campaign , Hillary concocted this story of coming under sniper fire as she arrived at Tuzla , Bosnia in 1996 on a goodwill tour . Fortunately most people saw this for what it really was , and had nothing else been said Hillary's statement would have faded away . Now enter Bill Clinton , statesman , goodwill ambassador , master orator , and a delusion of self importance rivaled only by Al Gore . Bill has recently spoke out to " set the record straight " as it were , and as a result has brought forth Hillary's ludicrous statement into the limelight again . "A lot of the way this whole campaign has been covered has amused me ", Mr. Clinton remarked in Booneville Indiana . "But there was a lot of fulminating because Hillary , one time late at night when she was exhausted , misstated and immediately apologized for it , what happened to her in Bosnia in 1995 ." "Did y'all see all that ? Oh , they blew it up ." I think i like Bill Clinton now than when he was president . It's interesting to me to see how he reacts to the media now that it's no longer in his pocket . Have you noticed that every interview he does when a reporter asked a sensitive question he becomes defensive . He'll cite everything from a right - wing hit job , to the media blowing the facts all out of proportion , any excuse at all that can keep him from answering the question directly . I've noticed too that whenever Hillary's campaign takes a turn for the worst it's usually linked to something Bill has said . If Hillary ever wants the Democratic nomination then perhaps she should take a page from the Obama campaign and tell her spouse to keep quiet .

Depression 2

This is not a financial prediction; all can hear the deafening overture of poverty and despair if they choose to hear it. Still the major newspapers and television news programs are not giving the American public the entire story. For example, the dollar has reached record loss in value for over four months. Unemployment is also setting records along with interest rate hikes, which has caused many Americans to go into foreclosure on their home and businesses. Even the lending houses are now starting to collapse with the weight of all the bad debt. Stories are now starting to surface about runs on many banks and lending houses. Again, Americans do not fully understand the gravity of this economic doomsday. If you are lucky enough to have an older friend or family member who was alive during depression one, ask them about it. The similarities are frightening.

U.S. Troop Surge - Success or Failure ?

General David Petraeus was reluctant to comment on the current troop levels in Iraq , but the possibility of 30,000 less troops being deployed could become a reality . President Bush has already agreed with Gen. Petraeus on any additional troops that may be required . These recommendations were brought before two senate committees that Gen. Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker attended . The senate hearings seemed more like a partisan cheer leading competition than a serious study of the tactical situation in Iraq , with Republicans praising the successes of the troop surge , while Democrats continue to down play any gains made . " You recommended drawing down before a pause to the level that's 10,000 above what it was before the surge ", commented Sen. Joseph Biden , D-Del . I just love watching these senators whom most have no combat experience try and play commanding general . A few years ago a prominent Democratic senator made the comparison that Iraq was another Vietnam . I took exception to that comment , but in recent months I've had to reevaluate my beliefs about the Iraq War . I still don't believe that it is another Vietnam , however the two conflicts do show some striking similarities . The ability of the enemy to blend in with the populace and conduct hit and run attacks just as the Viet Cong did . Iran supplying ,and sending "advisers" into Iraq , just as the Soviet Union did in Vietnam . And then you have the American gov. trying to micro - manage the war instead of letting the military run it , same as Vietnam . The only exception that i can see is that there're no large scale battles being fought , which also happened during the Vietnam Conflict . Unless of course Iran decides to up the ante and commit it's military to battle , which theoretically could happen in the near future with Iran's admission of having 6,000 new plutonium rods for enrichment . So taking all of this into account the two conflicts to a degree do seem similar . And if that's the case it makes me wonder if America truly had learned its lesson from the Vietnam Conflict . You can't fight a war with one hand tied behind your back .

Absolutely unacceptable

Vodka producer Absolute apologies over an advertising ad, which depicts the expansion of the Mexican border into Washington state. The advertising campaign states with the picture that this is an absolute world. Well I think this is absolute crap and I will show my displeasure by never buying this product. Let us see this company make a profit off the Peso.

Durban 2 - Part 2

In continuation of my last post about the upcoming Durban conference and its anti-American , anti - Israeli bent , i pointed out a few facts that i knew . One fact is that before 1947 there was no such nation as the State of Israel . Another fact is that the State of Israel only came into being through the efforts of the U.N. . So at least in my mind if the U.N. , and the Arabs have a problem with Israel then they have no one to blame but themselves for it . Simply put the United Nations in 1947 voted in favor of creating a Jewish state . And yet Arab countries would rather blame America for what Israel does . You can't have it both ways . I would pose this question to you , if the U.N. can establish a Jewish state , can they not also abolish it ? Another question i have about the Jewish state , does it really make the Jews safer to have a nation of their own ? From what I've seen on t.v. or read in the papers you always hear of a suicide bomber or gunman that's killed several Jews . Bearing that in mind i personally believe that the Jews are worse off now than before they were given their own country . I've seen U.N. general assembly meeting that do nothing but rant about Israels human rights abuses . Especially from countries whose governments are so brutal they make the Romans seem cordial by comparison . But as i said earlier if the U.N. so despises what it created , then why can it not simply abolish it ?

Durban 2

I touched on this subject a short time ago about an article I'd read concerning the U.N.s funding and organizing what could only be called " an Anti-American , Israeli pep rally ". Headed by the U.N.s Human Rights Committee " all Arab states " , the conference will focus on Israels human rights violations and Americas sponsoring it . I can agree to some extent that the State of Israel seems like an apartheid state than a modern model of democracy . However just like anything else you have to read the fine print . It's true that America supports Israel , but America did not create it as some in the Islamic world would like to believe . Before there was such a thing as the State of Israel that particular stretch of dessert was known as Palestine . Since before WW2 until 1947 Palestine was under the control of the British . Before that this particular region had no central government , or any other political entity . Then in 1947 the U.N. gives Palestine or to the Jewish people . When it came down to voting on the creation of a Jewish state it's true America did vote for it , that can not be denied . Again however the United States was not the only country voting for it . This is what has always confused me about the Arabs shortsightedness in blaming America for the creation of this state . And just exactly what did the U.N. create ? A region where war , refuge camps and privation are the norm . A place where suicide bombers kill school children , and attack copters destroy apartment buildings . A place where terror and uncertainty are a constant ......this is the proud achievement of the United Nations .

The Gay Look

There is a term for people who can't take a joke , or criticism about their work , I believe it's referred to as "Thin Skinned". This is a condition i believe the gay and lesbian community currently suffer from . It tends to manifest itself in many different places . Recently it occurred on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno . On this particular evening Leno was interviewing a young actor named Ryan Phillippe whose first role was on daytime's One Life to Live , where he portrayed a gay teenager . During the interview Leno good humourly said to Ryan " Say that camera was your gay lover " , as Leno pointed to the camera he then said " Can you give me your gayest look ? Say that camera is Billy Bob Thornton - Billy Bob has just ridden in shirtless from Wyoming " to which Ryan Phillippe started to squirm . The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation immediately sprang into action stating Jay Leno's remarks as " a misguided use of adolescent humor " . Even GLAAD president Neil G. Giuliano made a statement about Leno's remarks " We are proud of Ryan for refusing to participate in Leno's thoughtless attempt at humor . " The president of GLAAD continued by saying " Under the guise of comedy , the talk show host is demonstrating a lack of respect for the gay community and insensitivity to both his coworkers and the audience , to whom he owes an apology ". I can't help but think about Ryan Phillippe's surprise at these statements . Think for a minute , here's an actor going on The Tonight Show to talk about an upcoming film he's starring in , and leaves a living symbol of gay and lesbian rights ......who knew ! Here's something i can't understand , if Leno's comments enraged GLAAD so , then why do they stand by and let shows like Will & Grace continue without sanction ? That show tends toward stereotyping gays and lesbians . Granted there're some movies out there that try to show the gay and lesbian lifestyle in a serious light , for example Broke Back Mountain . Yet the gay community still shows hypocrisy . They want to be shown respect by their peers , but not to give it in return . Last year in San Francisco during a week long gay and lesbian pride festival several gay men entered a catholic church during communion dressed in the festivals full regalia in an apparent attempt to disrupt and belittle the church service . Where was GLAAD's condemnation of that ? But if apologies must be made i believe it falls on GLAAD to make them . If they can make fun of themselves on t.v. and cinema , but yet get bent out of shape when a late night talk show host does the same then their cause has no real standing . I think GLAAD should apologize to Jay Leno for the hell they put him through , and to Ryan Phillippe for trying to turn him into an unwitting poster boy for their cause .

Stopping the convoy

American truckers are the first to take a stand against skyrocketing fuel prices. If this protest stays united, it will get every one's attention while sticking it to the major oil corporations. There is only one flaw to the truckers plan. The mestizo trucking industry already has the green light to haul within the United States boarders and I can already hear the battle cry from the south of the boarder invaders. We are just working jobs that Americans do not want. I hope the best for our truckers and maybe this will inconvenience enough of the right people to take action and put a stop to this energy crisis.

Muslims Surpass Christians

The Vatican announced that for the first time Muslims outnumber Christians . It was also said that Muslims make up around 19.0% of the worlds population while Christians average around 17.0% . So how did this happen ? I could blame the church for they do bare some of the responsibility . Their almost reluctant attitude in dealing with pedophilia in the church as one prominent example . I feel that the fault lays mainly with Christians themselves for they are the ones who represent the church . Its true that bishops , pastors , and ministers are responsible for "spreading the word" , but as i said before it's Christians who represent the church in word , and action . I wont speak for all , but I've known Christians who do nothing more than pay lip service to Christs teachings and wear their faith on their sleeve . On the other hand I've met several Muslims who don't seem to exhibit this tendency . Bottom line for those Christians who find these current numbers alarming , if you want higher membership in the church then provide a better example for people to follow .

Bust of the housing bubble

The event that no television network economic analysts said would happen has. The housing market has crashed. If you own a home within the United States, it is now losing value. The media is sugar coating this event to stop any backlash but rest assured it is happening. Hope you bought your home on a fixed rate mortgage and did not fall for the usury "balloon loans" schemes all banks are pushing. However if you are a homeowner you are losing money in the most important investment you can make. Now we can sit back in our cardboard boxes and wait for depression part two. Waiting for the other financial shoe to drop can also be a good time to ponder how you can spend your Bush bribery money.
